New York City has over 1,000 miles of bicycle lanes and paths, reaching every corner of the five boroughs. Our customized tours let you see what you want, on your schedule. 

Our rides are also ideal for more advanced riders who are looking to ride a longer distance (and see more) than what might be offered on a standardized tour open to riders of varying abilities. 

Tour prices start at:

• $300 for a 2-hour tour 
• $400 for a 3- hour tour 
• $500 for a 4-hour tour
• $1,000 for an entire day  (you must contact us first to arrange an entire day)

All of our NYC bike tours are guided by Lukas Herbert, the owner of Gotham Bicycle Tours. Lukas is a professional urban planner who knows a lot about the city, its infrastructure, buildings and history as well as the best routes to ride. Lukas is also licensed by the City of New York as a sightseeing guide and is credentialed by the City as a “star guide” due to his extensive knowledge. (NYC DCA License # 2062201)

Suggested itineraries could include more than one of the following:

• Central Park and the surrounding “museum and mansions” neighborhoods
• Historic and cultural sites of Harlem
• Manhattan and Brooklyn waterfronts, including the Brooklyn Bridge
• Greenwich Village and the historic sites of lower Manhattan
• Brooklyn and Queens, including Coney Island and the Rockaways
• Historic and interesting sites of the Bronx
• Ride along the city’s famous aqueduct system, past the historic estates along it

Rental bicycles are not included in the price.  You have two options:

• Rent bikes from us and we will deliver them to wherever you want to ride. Our delivery bikes cost $50 per bike and there are delivery charges of $250 for Manhattan or $300 for Brooklyn or Queens. Delivery to the Bronx is $75. (Delivery charges are per group, not per bike)  Click here to be taken to the bike rental page. Select “3-Hour Rental and then choose your delivery location at checkout.
• We can arrange to meet you at a bike shop that rents bikes and then you can rent on your own. Usually this is cheaper, but it also means you have to start your ride at that particular rental location.

Reserve your tour date now with a $50 deposit (plus tax and fees). We will contact you within 24 hours to discuss your tour, what time you want to do it, and give you the final tour cost based on where you want to ride. Once you agree to a particular tour and date, your $50 deposit becomes non-refundable. The balance of your payment will be due 48 hours before the tour start and is non-refundable once you are within 48 hours of the tour start.
