Our cancellation policies vary according to the specifics of each tour, and are as follows:

Hudson Valley Craft Brewery Tour

Empire State Day Tours

Riders must pay in full to reserve tour. Payment is fully refundable if cancelled more than 10 days in advance. After this, you will only receive a 50% refund if you cancel. Cancellations within 3 days of the day-ride (for example, 5 p.m. Wednesday is the deadline for a tour that runs on Saturday) are non-refundable.  If inclement weather is forecasted for the day of the ride (inclement weather is defined as the forecasted certainty of sustained, soaking rain and/or high-speed winds…NOT scattered, passing or intermittent showers) you will be given the option of a full refund or the opportunity to ride on another available date.

Private Day Tours

Reservations for private tours are secured with a non-refundable deposit. You have until 5 p.m., three days before the tour to pay any remaining balance. (For example 5 p.m. on Wednesday is the cutoff for a tour that begins on a Saturday). If you want to back out of the tour for any reason – including weather –  you do not have to pay the balance when it is due and you will only lose your deposit. If you decide to do the tour, you must pay the balance by this time to keep your reservation, and your payment becomes non-refundable. Tours will run rain or shine.

New York City Sightseeing Bike Tours

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a date and a particular tour itinerary. The balance of payment will be due 48 hours before the tour start and is non-refundable once you are within 48 hours of the tour start.

Empire State Trail Vacation Tours

Reservations are secured with a non-refundable deposit. The balance of the tour fee is usually due about 2 weeks before the tour begins. After that, all fees are non-refundable.

Private Overnight or Multi-Day Bike Tours

Reservations are secured with a non-refundable deposit that also serves as a planning fee. This deposit/planning fee is the first component of a two-component payment structure. The second component is the tour operation fee, which is typically not due until about a week before tour. (The actual timetable for payment will depend on the details of your tour). Once the tour operation fee is remitted, it is non-refundable.
